I’m a pony I come in all sorts of colors. Brown White Beige Black A patchwork of colors  I have a thick mane I am of small stature but I have the heart of a champion. I’m a worker and proud of it. You can see me in the fields on farms I am up at the crack of dawn I assist the farmer with his crops by carrying them to market. I am a favorite at kids birthday parties too. I love when children ride me around as they smile and pat me gently. I am a small equine. I’m a little horse.  I can carry more than my weight when I haul a carriage and payloads. I love grazing in the grassland. I am a social animal. I’m very friendly and agreeable. Sometimes I can be stubborn but for the most part I am very cooperative and productive. I’m a Peacock I’m a bird with personality  I am very colorful  I’m a sight for sore eyes I can fly but not for long distances  I prefer the ground to the sky I will fly to avoid danger or to get across a stream I can not get my feathers wet as that will weigh me down and weaken me if I get caught up in the waters I must be careful as I can not swim  My feathers are my calling card They distinguish me from other birds They bring smiles to children’s faces at the zoo where they can see me up close and personal. I’m a Turkey  I’m a majestic bird A bird of color  A land bird  I can be heard on the farm  I have over 28 calls My gobble gobble is my most used and most popularly known.  I am a terrestrial bird  Though I graze the land I too can fly I’m more on the ground but I have wings and legs to thrust upwards in the sky if I have to escape a potential predator. Domesticated turkeys raised on the farm usually don’t fly because of their diet which is different from that of a wild turkey.  Wild turkeys usually fly to seek shelter in trees where they roost.  They’re not high flying birds. They adapt to their surroundings as they do not migrate like other birds who can fly far distances to escape the cold. Wild turkeys and farm turkeys can adapt to snowy conditions but seek out shelter or are placed in warm buildings on the farm.
