I’m a Turtle

I’m a Turtle 

I’m a turtle but at least I get to where I need to go. 

I may not get their fleet of foot but I get there none the less and that’s all that matters. 

I may not garner the attention or the adulation but I always stay on course and find a way to get to where 
I need to go. 

I have the gift of patience. 

No matter how long the course I’m diligent, dedicated and carefree. 

I’m cautious and slow but I always get to where I have to go. 

I’m just a tiny little force of energy and might. 

I have a hard exterior shell to protect me from the weather or attacks from the outside.

I can live on land and also in the sea depending on the type of turtle I am.

I come in all types of sizes from extremely tiny to huge and am adaptable to various environments though I struggle in the heat and the extreme cold.

I can live to a grand old age of 100 years or more though not as long as trees that dot the forests and various landscapes. 

I’m filled with a lot of spirit and I’m usually at the end of the pack but that doesn’t bother me because I always get to where I have to go because I’m a turtle.

I’m an Ant Ants are truly amazing creatures and a wonder and joy to children all over the world.  Ants fascinate us in how they live among us. If you ventured a guess as to how many species of ants there are in the world you would truly be surprised. It’s not a hundred. It’s not a thousand either.
